From material to mastery
One place to learn it, remember it, and prove you know it
Answer first, then the why
Get the solution the moment you ask — followed by a clean step-by-step so you can reproduce it in the exam yourself, not just copy it.
Screen & camera help
Send a screen snapshot with Look, or a camera image of your notebook, and ask the tutor for step-by-step help with what it sees.
Notes → flashcards & exams
Turn your class notes into flashcards and full practice exams with one tap. Study Exam tracks what you've mastered and what to review next.
Sit the exam before the exam
Study Exam writes a real, timed practice paper from what you've actually studied — your chats, your notes, or any topic you know the test will cover. Then it grades you and tells you exactly what to review.
Generate it from
Your past AI chats
Everything you worked through with the tutor becomes exam material — automatically.
Your class notes
Pick the exact notes or class the test covers and questions are written from them.

Question 3 of 12
Differentiate f(x) = x²·ln(x) and state the domain of f′.

The questions parents and teachers ask
Isn't this just cheating?
Study Exam will give you the answer when you ask — but it doesn't stop there. Every answer comes with a step-by-step so you can do the next one yourself, your notes turn into flashcards and practice exams, and reviews are scheduled before you forget. So you're not paying someone to do the work; you're getting help that leaves you needing less of it next time.
How is this different from asking ChatGPT?
Study Exam combines tutoring with class-organised notes, flashcards, spaced-repetition reviews and graded practice exams built from your course material. General assistants can also explain problems; Study Exam puts the study workflow in one workspace.
What ages is it for?
Middle school and up. Students under 13 need a parent or guardian to approve the account before they can use it, and we ask for a birth year at sign-up so we can apply that properly.
My child has dyslexia / ADHD / dyscalculia. Does that work?
Yes, and it's one of the reasons the app exists. In the profile you can flag learning support needs, and the tutor changes how it teaches — shorter chunks and one question at a time for ADHD, decoding-friendly typography and read-aloud for dyslexia, concrete number sense and no dense notation for dyscalculia. Every explanation, quiz and summary can also be listened to instead of read.
Does it work in my language?
Choose your language during onboarding for the app and tutor. Norwegian app wording is provided by a static Bokmål phrasebook; other app languages use translations with English fallback. The tutor is instructed to answer in your chosen language. Public landing pages are English, with two Norwegian study guides.
What happens to my child's data?
Notes, chats and progress are private to the student's account unless they choose to share a test. We do not sell personal data or use study content for advertising. The privacy policy describes data handling; your profile provides account export and deletion.
What do I get for free?
Free accounts include 5 tutor messages, 1 study-material generation, 1 study-plan generation and 1 lesson recording per day, with 2 read-aloud and 3 voice-input requests. A 60-action monthly AI limit also applies. No card is needed to create a free account. Full practice-exam generation and grading require Pro. Pro costs $19.90 per month or $149 per year and offers a 7-day trial for first-time subscribers. Pro has higher daily limits and a monthly fair-use limit; checkout displays payment requirements.
Can I cancel?
Any time, in two clicks from your profile. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, then drop back to the free plan — nothing is deleted.
